Angkor Golf Resort claims top spot for 2nd consecutive year..
The award-winning Sir Nick Faldo designed Angkor Golf Resort was voted best course in Cambodia at the recent 2017 World Golf Awards. Fast becoming one of SE Asia’s must play courses, Angkor Golf Resort was once again flying the flag for golf in the Kingdom at golf tourism’s event of the year. The event took place at the prestigious La Manga Club from the 23rd-26th November. The event welcomed the elite of the golf hospitality industry to Spain.
Both Siem Reap and Angkor Golf Resort have come a long way in recent years and Awards such as this help to secure our place on the golfing map. Siem Reap has long been established as a favorite tourism destination in the region and rightly so. Golf specific tourism in Siem Reap is now taking great strides forward and long may it continue. There is no doubt that awards of this nature help raise awareness and credibility amongst golf travelers who may not be aware of what Cambodia has to offer.
